Electric Teaching - Concept Connections: Graphing Puzzles and More!My first full website that I launched in 2010. I saw the need for students to practice basic graphs of functions and work with data points without necessarily using the calculator, pencil, and paper. More additions and updates are regularly added (it is a project that I think could go on for years to come). Trigonometry, conic sections, exponential functions, quizzes, worksheets, and lots more. The site was listed in the February 2012 issue of NCTM's Mathematics Teacher with a small article about it.
Making videos to help 'flip' my classroom are just one of many reason I enjoy making video lessons. Students from as far off as Argentina have given thanks for providing clear explanations of math and computer programming. It means a lot to me that I can help people that I have never met.
Video Lessons on Math and Python ProgrammingAlthough I do use Google ads on my website and YouTube channel, it does not come close to cover the costs of hosting the sites, the time to make the videos, or the time spent creating websites that help students of the world practice and learn mathematics and programming. Donations go toward the hosting costs, making more videos, and support for my family.
